Screwing with the part of the game that makes it enjoyable.  They should be working on rent-a-server program, and stop nerfing the damn weapons.

"Passive" replenishing of grenades is absurd. Then they go and throw in replenishing of ammo... I get that they dont want to punish people who stay alive longer, but thats part of the benefit of having a support class with you. They want to promote teamwork, but are trivializing the support class's benefit to their team

Yeah saw this today. It seems they are not listening to anyone in CTE telling them the first phase of the , the nade nerf, is a bad way to do it so look for the changes to go forward with no thought to adjusting it. There has been 0 talk of any additional features as far as RSP goes for this patch so as I see it there will be squat included in the DLC release. As much as I like BF1 if they haven't raised the bar as far as servers go Im pretty much done. Ill play BF4, maybe a few rounds of BF1 with you guys if the mood strikes me. I have ARMA , I plan to buy Wildlands, plus there are a couple of shooters that are kind of interesting but will need to see gameplay of the final game.

 

It's become obvious, to me at least, that DICE no longer gives a rats ass about the communities that made it what it is today. They dont seem to care about the millions of dollars servers and the communities that rent them represent so IMO they can keep their official servers and I'll vote with my wallet and give a company that does respect the communities and its players the cash instead. Pretty sure this will not work out well for DICE. As seen it didn't work out well for Infinity Ward either.

I think its a problem, but mainly with support resupplying themselves continuously. Hell, I abuse it. Every time I throw a nade, I will toss myself a ammo pouch so the next one is ready in a few seconds. Easily solvable by a larger time delay of last nade throw to next nade throw timer.

 

I'm with ya though on your reply. This nade thing is a distraction form larger problems that they need to work on with their community. 

Ditto. Im a crossbow nade flinging ho. Granted it already has a decent timer in it but i'm getting pretty damned accurate with that frag in a window from a way off  . My suggestion is a way to add a bit of danger into the game as far as resupplying goes. there is no risk in dropping a crate or a pack in cover. Quick resupply of gadgets etc via an air drop from a supply bomber that carries an explosive/gas charge if its destroyed will however add that risk vs reward into the game. Not saying make the packs / crates obsolete just drops being a more expedient way of resupplying.

 

Think of the drop as an actual resupply, while a crate is a base supply and a pack is saying "Hey Joe toss me a mag".  My issue isn't grenades it the way resupply works and the introduction of auto resupply will screw up the game.
