February 1, 200422 yr Carl, that song was about Bilbo Baggins. The book that tells the story of Bilbo Baggins is not the LOTR trilogy. It's The Hobbit. I'm such a Tolkein fan. If you liked the LOTR books, you should also read The Silmarillion. It's a good story that tells about Middle-earth from the beginning of the First Age up until a little after where the LOTR trilogy ends. (LOTR is set during the end of the Third Age).
