August 21, 20178 yr Author Yeah I made sure I made a post about all the huge updates for RSP that we got today. I also made sure Braddock saw it. I think I will tweet him. Latest patch notes for RSP updates: Fixed the issue that updating the VIP or Moderator list causes map rotation to discard map vote result and return to the first map. August 22, 20178 yr Meh. For a while I was only testing stuff in the CTE . I haven't updated that for the last 2 cycles. I gave EA / DICE every opportunity to show me they give a damn. To date they have done dick to change my opinion. To date they have pissed on the communities that have supported BF for years. Not that it will do one iota of good I am choosing to vote with my wallet and not give them one red cent more. When SWBF2 comes out I will be passing on it. One reason is the star card system where while you "CAN" unlock abilities via packs like you unlock skins in BF1 if the system is as dicked up as BF1 then it's gonna blow. That and the fact that you can "BUY" the packs turning the system into a pay to win system. Yeah gonna avoid that shit like the plague. Way too many good indie games in process right now that could use the funds.

These are obtained through "crates". Crates are purchasable just like crates in BF1 through micro transactions. Hello Pay to Win. Yeah I'm 99.99999% positive I will be giving that a pass. Never say never though. If the new BF does not make HUGE strides in the way of Server Rental that will get a pass as well. I hate to say it but really the only thing BF1 has going for it IMHO is it looks better. Again in my opinion the game play was far more solid in BF4 with less issues after the CTE was formed. BF4 CTE made good meaningful changes because the devs listened to the players involved. This CTE however devs pretty much ignore anything that isn't on their "special projects" list. Its more about developing additional shit you have to pay for vs fixing stuff that is broken. Don't get me wrong the game was fun enough but it's targeted at the players who will hop title to title and have the attention span of a gnat. DICE / EA has taken a huge steamy shat on the communities and clans that have kept BF titles a generation old alive and unless they do an abrupt about face a great many will no longer support them.
