November 29, 20178 yr Anyone else try Fortnite BR yet? It's a battle royal type game like PUBG but it's pretty different. It's cartoony and you can do some building to create walls/stairs/floors etc.. It's actually kinda fun, it plays a lot smoother for me than PUBG does and it's also completely free to play. You can play solo/duos/squads as well.
November 29, 20178 yr Yep. Been my go to BR game at least till they patch out some of the ridonkulous lag and desync issues they have had in PUBG recently. Username is NetRngr there as well. Add me as a friend and we will duo if ya want. Got a few wins most solo matches are top 10 finishes. Maybe we can grab some duo wins. Also FYI: Warface has a F2P BR mode in beta as well its only 16 players however but matches are uber fast.
November 29, 20178 yr Author Yea it’s a lot quicker paced then PUBG, you won’t spend 20 minutes running only to get picked off from somewhere. I’ll still trying to figure out the building aspects of it. Getting the high ground really helps.
November 30, 20178 yr my kids are playing it on the Xbox...... One of these days I want to try it! It's insanely fun and since EPIC designed the engine it's pretty darned optimized. I miss playing PUBG but I get to the point I rage way to often with the lag and hit reg/desync issues. I understand from reviews that the 1.0 version while still having some issues is MUCH better in those departments. I am patiently waiting on them to release the updates so I can try playing again. I can only take emptying a clip into someones back and having them oneshot me so many times before the rage monster arises and it's never pleasant.
