Like he said, it's early access. It is a year long beta. kinda like battlefield 1 was a 2 year beta that EA and DICe never got right. LOL

I am still going to test it out knowing it is a beta test.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion about Battlefield 1, and you are no exception. I, on the other hand, liked the game. Yes, all games are going to have some issues, because no game will ever be perfect. Battlefield 4 had many problems at the start, but most of them got all worked out. I'm just saying that this guy suggests the game is lacking a lot. He reaffirmed my suspicion about the game ...enough so that I have no plans to purchase it.

The game creators did not allow anyone to show their in-game footage, so I ask, why not? DICE encouraged players to make videos of the Alpha and Beta, because they are proud of their work, and they know it is going to be a great game. After playing both the Alpha and Beta, I am certain that Battlefield is going to be a hit. Just saying...

I'm not sure the guy is dogging on the game so much as he's giving an honest opinion. A lot of early access games and even some AAA titles are really struggling on the net code side of the game. This is a small group and it is about on par with what I expect. Escape from Tarkov has similar issues but has been getting better with every patch in tightening net code and server responsive ess. They went from huge desync issues to a playable game.

I'm excited to see a gun customization that matches Escape from Tarkov. I've never been happier with a gun I could put together over in that game. It really did make a difference in your lethality in figuring out your best set up without it being a straight stat/number game that you see in like Recon.

I'm looking forward to trying a game a little off the beaten path for a fresh take on a familiar genre. At the very least, it may send ripples into the newer AAA titles. I guess we will know on Friday.

I'm really excited to see the backup offset iron sights make an appearance. Nothing like the best of both worlds for aiming. Saw a few streamers run these in EFT. I'm also liking what I see in terms of implementation so far. Looks like squads making up a side. Itll be interesting to see how that works for matchmaking and the like.

If you're interested in this game, I'd watch that video. It was probably the most neutral and informative piece I've seen... be warned, there are some cringeworthy potato aim moments from the narrator.

Like I said. I played the game, not a lot but enough, and no I didn't see full servers but more than this guy was saying. Were there things not implemented yet? Sure but its a work in progress so I took that into account.

My honest opinion? I'm gonna get it. Yeah im gonna play BF5 but i'll play this as well. I miss the BF4 feel and this game has it in spades. Yeah I cant say much if anything about the gameplay but I had a hella good time playing it.

World War 3 takes tactical, modern day combat and puts it on a global battlefield. Where Halo is sci-fi, Battlefield has destructive environments, and Call of Duty fantasizes high-speed combat, World War 3 is aiming for a more authentic experience. Your character can't perform superhuman feats and the ballistic system for each gun behaves as it would in the real world.

I mean I've been kinda put out on the available games recently. There's a ton of em just none have really grabbed me and made me jones to play.

PUBG - They have put cashing out with the loot crates etc over improving the game in any noticeable way.

Fortnite - Epic has been doing a great job with this title and while they have a cash system it's only for skins which hasn't taken away from the quality of the game. My only issue with it is it gets pretty boring quickly, The hitscan targeting takes a lot of skillfulness out of the game, and the GD Bunny hopping drives me batty.

CoD - Yeah Small maps, and 12 yr olds calling you gay when you obliterate their face. Nuff Said

BF1 - At its core a good game. Mismanagement by EA /Dice and outright dismissal of the groups that made the franchise what it is in favor of the console guys with the attention spans of gnats.

The list goes on but Im hoping BF5 or WW3 can give us something that will hold us a while. Otherwise practice practice practice. Fortunately this has given me ample time to practice and Im getting really decent at playing my instrument. There's always a silver lining someplace.

Just a reminder that the game launches sometime around noon today. So long as the servers hold up, a good number of us will be playing tonight. It's time to go to war.

Other good news, farm 51 tweeted that servers will be available for every country and not just USA a and Europe.

Just remember this, even though the game is available to play now, you can not start playing it until I get home tonight. LOL

LOL you should have been there with Battlefield 4. I am still in the top 1% in that game and I have not played it in 2 years.
I got it downloaded and installed this weekend. Will get up with ya. Wife took a tumble so I may need to take her to the Drs to look at her leg as she may have sprained her knee. Will get in as soon as I can.
