No offense to TA or Ooryl, but TA does not need any more members, it woud be nice if you tried another clan. :/(I am not in TA by the way)
Yeah.. TA doesn't need more people.. because how crazy would it be if there actually were a clan that was more then just 15 punks who were good at the game but could not contain themselves! *Phew* Let's be glad that hasn't happened yet. </Sarcasm>
Here's the reality: The Firearms clanbase is slowly shrinking, and having players join a clan that already has over 30 people in it instead of making new clans to expand the clanbase is just destroying the clanbase. The solution (which someone mentioned a while back): Stop recruiting.
30 mg? they've got 73 offical members. You can make 4 clans with this. Four clans would be 4, brand new clans to FA. 4 clans is two more CAL spots. 4 clans is 4 groups of people, all dedicated to the same thing, with the same idols. The reality is, i don't care if you're great or not. Look at AESIR. We've got alot of members - but about 10 active members. You guys have 69 active members. This is alot of members. And clans live and die because they don't have enough members - usually they need one or two more. I can think of at least 5 clans that have died because they don't have enough members, while TA is grabbing ALOT of members still, while they've got 60+ members. I think MG's right with this one; TA should stop recruiting for awhile, because the clan scene is dying; however TA is accelerating this speed by 5 fold.

we are just so cool. 8)
Well, let me see...hmm TA has been popular for quite some time. We try to recruit good people (friendly), and not people who are good (skill). They join TA for the same reason that they play on the TA server. They want to be a part of something that has a friendly environment and treats them with respect. The TA clan is run by a bunch of odler guys who already know a few things about the concept of organization. The other clans you refer to only take players who "tryout" and are really "good". If they are not, they are turned down and not allowed to join. We also take players that are good, but we also take players that are not as good. We look at the applicant's character and how they are as a person, and not how well they can click a mouse. :PWe have over 100 applications pending now. We monitor the applicants and observe their actions on the server, and over time, and if we fell they are TA material, we ask them to join.FA shot themselves in the foot with their poorly moderated forums. Anything was allowed there, and it ended up chasing people away from FA. So sad :p

but it's REALLY hard to get a good clan started with the likes of EF, DoL, DW, and even us, TA, hanging around.
regardless of the interesting arguement developing here i want to make welcome to the forums {cKy}Ooryl! :p hope to see you on the server Later!
Welcome dude. And yeah, why would we split up TA? Gator pretty much hit the nail on the head (cliche, but I don't care) with his post. People don't join TA because they are interested in uber clan battles. 8) They like the group and the server. If other clans (I'm not saying all of them) didn't act like elitist punks maybe the clanbase would grow and people wouldn't be scared away.
Wow this thread survived a threadjacking. Congrats!Infact talking about threadjacking is kind of like threadjacking this.
Gator is correct.having played just about all of them... quite a few of the other clans out there imo have attitude problems so i can understand lots of ppl wanting to join TA. Only ones i think r decent (or mostly decent) these days r TA NBT and the american DW squad. (i would say pop but their standards have slipped imo with some of their newer recruits)as to starting new clans........why would someone want to start up a new clan for CAL just to get utter abuse and whining all the time from other clans who need to grow up.Making TA a multi-gaming clan only adds to its strength and popularity without a doubt. 100 pending applications for membership? lol 70+ members? You guys shld form a planetside squad! so hell yeah gl to joining TA.
