Apex Legends being over run with cheaters

Featured Replies

Agreed.

Everyone talks about stopping hackers but no one is implementing effective counter measures. I realize it's a never ending back and forth between the hackers and developers and I imagine developing cheats is a fairly lucrative business to be in these days.

What if all the game developers agreed to create a company exclusively for anti cheating and every year they send reps to Blackhat and Defcon and make the best of the best hackers offers they couldn't refuse essentially getting them to work for the industry as a whole to develop and implement measures for all the developers. If every developer in the video game industry allocated .5% of revenue or even .25% to this problem (thats a lot of money) I would like to think that they could develop something to always stay one step ahead of the hackers and make gaming enjoyable again.

I like the idea.

Personally, I am starting to pay less and less pvp style fps because of cheaters.

Since all the companies seem to be doing away with admins and 3 rd party servers it just isn't fun knowing you are going to lose most of the time because we are being given a fair chance.

It is like your state government making up laws and then getting rid of the police. Who is left to enforce the law? Right now in game, no one.

My next game purchase is going to be something without pvp aspect to it. Division 2.
