I have a laptop from 2012, it wants to die if I have more than 4 tabs open, lol.

I might try that ancient technology.

Grab my notebook I keep of bass/guitar tabs and have at it. I find I retain songs a lot easier if I have a tab open as opposed to Rocksmith as I have to concentrate on it more. I've started tabbing out things in RS without sustains, bends, etc simply because I have to listen to the track the first couple of times to hear whats going on thus forcing me to concentrate on it and thus I remember it easier.
