Looks like 1,200 players got the ban hammer in the Fortnite world cup for everything from cheating software to circumventing region locks. Most players caught got a 2 week ban and lost their winnings. Sadly, while the award money will be redistributed, the in-game leaderboards for the others wont reflect their new standings after the DQs.
