November 16, 20214 yr Author All loaded up and waiting for the official release. Yeah I cheaped out and got the standard version. I've gotten burned on the last two releases so I'll get any expansions when they come out. It didn't make any sense to me to spend the extra dollars to buy expansions for a game i am not 100% sure I will still be playing when they release. My whole outlook on this release pretty much hinges on portal being as awesome as i have heard it was. In BF3, 4, Hardline, and to some extent BF1 the offline content / campaign was worth the cost of the base game alone but sadly DICE decided this should be eliminated. Strike one. Removal of the class system in the game was strike two for me so this release is already of shakey ground for me but from everything I've seen Portal could be the saving grace. I mean honestly the first thing I usually do is fire up a custom game and let it rip but recently that has been pretty impossible so here's hoping for the best. /cranky old bastard
