FTC Sues to Stop Nvidia's Acquisition of Arm

"risks stifling innovation, raising prices across the industry, and depriving consumers of choice."

Well how do I put this..... They can't possibly raise prices any more without losing all their customers as their cards are at a premium now. As far as innovation goes I dont think the only other competitor in the market, AMD, uses these chipsets so not sure how that would play out. As far as choice goes there are really only two choices AMD or Nvidia. That's it, and with the current state of the world, what with chip shortages and crypto miners gobbling up GPUs, what choice is there currently? I looked and it's damn near impossible to get a decent graphics card unless you buy it in a factory built system which is not what most gamers want.

I have to say I have been pretty impressed with the 1650 I picked up even if it is a SFF card and limited on its RAM but for my needs its been pretty damned stout. It's run New World flawlessly and I suspect it will run BF 2042 just fine especially since I play FPS titles on the lowest graphics settings anywho since pretty isn't what you are looking for here.

I guess we shall see how it shakes out.
