Microsoft Is Adding a Free VPN to the Edge Browser

Featured Replies

Uhhh yeah... no.

Edit

Let me clarify, while Cloudflare is a decent group and I really dig their speed test, as it registers jitter and none of the other major ones do, I am not funneling any private or professional data through M$'s greedy hands. At best they use it for targeting ads, at worst who knows.

If you feel you need a VPN, at least professionally, you should purchase the hardware and infrastructure to establish your own private point to point VPN. Its far more secure than any publicly offered solution. If you dont have the staff to accomplish this find a reputable MSP to set this up for you and manage it. Its well worth it in the end.

This concludes my Monday morning PSA.
