Disney+'s Firefly: Every Character We Expect to See in the Revival

Yeah.... Its too late to pick this back up. The actors are far older to do anything that would take place between the show and the movie to be anywhere near cohesive.

A reboot could be interesting but as they said in the article, Disney has been tending to bend to the whole inclusiveness thing and honestly IMHO it would take away something to change the core of the characters via religion, sexuality, etc. Its probably best to leave those character traits in tact and if they wanted to go that route simply use race and or species to do that.

I have no idea why they felt the need to go into the issues Joss Whedon has been dealing with in the article but for any reason other than to add a bit of smear to him. Ok so Joss became famous and used it to obtain girlfriends and have copious amounts of sex. Yeah that kind of comes along with fame. I dont condone him cheating on his wife but reading over a lot of the allegations that have come out against him, most of them reak of sour milk. Oh no, he fired me after we had sex or he called me fat after I got pregnant. Lets face it, He may not be a nice guy to work for and even less nice to have a relationship with but he's being shunned in Hollywood for stuff that just happens to regular folks. You move on with your life and grow from it but of course in Hollywood it's not that simple you need to try your best to ruin someone because they were mean to you. With what's been reported in a lot of cases they really dont have much to complain about. My suggestion is just grow the F up. A lot of folks have had to endure so much more than getting broken up with the day before their birthday so deal. Sorry I dont have a lot of patients with whiney people who dont have a lot to complain about, however I digress.

Now that I have that out of my system, maybe it will be good I just dont see it as resonating with the fanbase at large and i see it suffering the same fate as the original show.

Agreed!

I think all shows should have inclusiveness, but I don't like when they cram too much in and make it all about that instead of focusing on the story plot
