I think Iraq showed you can have good hardware but still get outgunned by somebody better trained and better motivated. Iraqi's did have some good armor fielded, our troops were just better trained and coordinated.Never underestimate Russian equipment. That stuff was made specifically to face American equipment. Whoever said Russian equipment sucked needs to get his head checked. Russians know how to make something cheap, easy to maintain, and yet still be battle effective.Just because equipment carries the US star, doesn't automatically make it superior. It's the crews that drive the equipment that make it shine.Keep up the info in this post, I eat this kind of stuff up. If you can't post anything more constructive than "That stuff sucks", kindly stifle yourself.

I would have to agree with the M1A1 and Challenger II as the two best tanks. But I'm partial to the Abrams because it's just cool. And yeah, the Russians make some pretty durn good stuff, too. The M1A2 has the most powerful tank engine in the world. Its a 1500hp gas turbine engine. However the main drawback to the Abrams is that the M1A2 weighs a little over 70 tons. This makes it very hard to fight wars in far places that require a transport. The huge C-5 Galaxy can only carry two of the M1A2's. The Challenger ll weighs a little less than the M1A1. 59-63 tons.The Challenger has better armor than the Abrams, but their guns and firing control systems are the same for the most part. The third and fourth best tanks in the world are the Chinese Type-98, the Leopard ll, and the T-90S Tagil.

U should update your 'Guide of the Imperial Armament'. AT-AT's WERE the best a long, long time ago (not to mention in a galaxy far, far away).

 

Right now, the Imperial Groundforces use much more convenient (and much more powerful) vehicles. Cannot specify the details, u know, it's a public forum and the spies of the rebelscum :x could find it here.
