Yo. Just wanted to drop a line to all you outstanding gamers who are members of TA. Due to problems with Steam, and Valve's apathy towards helping me with a very specific problem (Steam was causing invalid page faults in my Half-Life executable), I have shut down my clan and quit all things Half-Life for good. I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed the hours of free time spent with you guys, blowing virtual heads off. As far as clans in FA (and maybe even all of Half-Life!), you TA guys are the best I've ever worked with in a game. And your server was (and I hope still is!) the BEST place to play. Clean, and as cheat-free as a HL mod can get these days. Thank you all for being so cordial and welcoming to me personally...all of you. I wish you all the best. I have moved to World War 2 Online for the time being, and have joined a squad in there called "Kelly's Heroes". There I am known as 'womprat'. While I miss the quality of modeling and detail the HL FPS offers, the squad is a very team oriented group. And while the FPS mode of WW2OL may not be as good, this group reminds me of you guys every time I log on. I wish you all the very best. I am also a WWIIOL gamer..or atleast have been. I turned my account off again but I think my stats are still there. I was a major leader in the German Army under the name radarcop from my old patrol days. Anyway I miss my WWIIOL from time to time but DC is a FUN game. I played with a group of tactical bomber called KGBB. I had an official rank in the community of General in the German Airforce and Col. in the Army. I was one hell of a Stuka pilot. If I can help you with FA, DC or even WWIIOL please feel free to let me know.

spyder if u get back to this the fix for that is to reinstall steam. i've gotting the error twice and that fixed it.

Eventually (after a few hours of playing FA) I get the error message again, and can't play anything HL at all. I'm playing on a 2.5Ghz AMD machine with 1GB ram, a 10,000RPM Raptor HD (80Gb), an ATI Radeon 9200 (256MB version), and a DSL connectionn to the net. You try simply reinstalling FA?

They are stupid and idiot because they know nothing !There is your graphics card who can have a glitch : my son and i, we have changed 2 times our graphics card because the openGL die and bios chip have been burned or ram fails !When you are on the server, try to open a gif or jpg pictures on the gallery to see if you have bizaroid colored dots on your screen, if right, your graphics card is death else try BF1942 or DC if opengl run again or death, there is only for that that steam don't launch itself & fa...Egidio.PS. In my country, some pc builder says when win crash, format it for to restart with a clean computer... <--- They are morons... Because there is the easy solution at all problems... :shock: Like you, purchase a new computer resolve the graphics card problems because you buy a new one !
