March 26, 200422 yr They say that halflife² is postponed to 2005, well at least it isn't on the release list of 2004. the development costs at the moment are about $ 40 000 000( = 32 800 328 Euro). :evil: But they also say this: Characters are an important part of it, and carry the burden of making the story and the player's actions matter. The world also needed to be able to suck you in more, and that was a combination of visual quality as well as things like deeply integrated physics that make the objects in the world react to the player and player actions. Now i dont know if it is worth waiting fore, wasn't this game originaly fore like 2002??
March 26, 200422 yr It was supposed to be out April last year, then maybe October, and THEN before Christmas, and THEN this April. $40 million? Holy $$#%, that's alot of money for a game. But they will easily make $100 million I am presuming.

March 31, 200422 yr actully, only a small part was taken, not all of it.I would say only a 5 minute period of gameplay (=hundreds of lines of code) was actully stolen
