May 12, 200421 yr You do have a point there SC. I still prefer the DC helos and all other gameplay from BVF but thats just my opinion. To me its slightly like going from DC to 1942. 1942 does not have all the advance weapons that DC has which makes 1942 very boring to me. I do think BFV is really cool though and I recommend buying it. Its typical though that it doesn't run good on lower end systems, some that even ran DC decently. I know that when Godshand tried on his computer he explicitly hated the game. I think if I remember right he is running a 2.6 P4, 1gb ram, but his problem I think is his FX5200 256mb video card (I've heard those cards aren't too good). He came over to my house to play BVF on my computer and he loved it, but he also like how much better DC ran as well. He now has a new respect for the game.
May 12, 200421 yr I completely disagree about the choppers, and I think they fly great. I could very easily fly a DC chopper, but I feel the choppers in BF:V are much more responsive than DC choppers. The left/right yoke is horribly slow and sluggish in DC, and the chopper sometimes goes where it wants to...kinda roly-poly you might say. I have flown in several military helicopters in the past, and the BF:V choppers seem much more realistic as to the dynamics of how they actually fly. Also, tanks can easily shoot you out of the sky in DC (easier than a Stinger missile), but in BF:V they cannot. It's all about personal choice I guess, but that is my honest opinion anyways... :)We had just started to get involved with DC (about a few months), before we launched into BF:V, so some of clan members had a certain mindset about DC and did not want to convert. Download the demo's and see what you like best, or just simply buy them both
May 12, 200421 yr BFV. More interesting/challenging terrain. Cool music decks in vehicles. Makes me laugh more. Don't get in chopper with me at schlick Flying those I still no nothink
May 12, 200421 yr IMHO anyway, BF:V is the greatest FPS game in modern history. There is nothing more satisfying than loading up 6 passengers into a Chinook and landing an assault on an objective (capture flag). The game is very reliant on teamwork and strategy. Here is a screenshot of a player flying with me in the Chinook Jawol. Maybe that me repeating to myself to remember parachute
May 12, 200421 yr My personal opinion is BF:Vietnam. I mean choppers are actually flyable without a joystick and you can tell its not a mod. I mean dc is great and has some awsome tank busting but its only a mod. In Vietnam you have awsome teamplaying something that doesnt happen in DC no matter what because there arent to many tactics to use. For snipers Vietnam is the sh*t because u can go behind enemy base and hide in a bush and no one can see you. Because its a jungle enviroment its really hard for a chopper to see ya if u stay still while camping. I know that because ive got the taste of lead allot of times by those 2 EVIL persons ORION and STATECOP. AHHHHH.........
May 16, 200421 yr Author yeah im prolly gonna get vietnam cuz i got a demo of bf and snipering is kinda homo to the max so yeah prolly gettin the game on monday if ya wanna tag along and show me around the game
