Whenever I try and install anything, my computer restarts.E.G. The new B.F.V. installer. I started it up, and BOOOM, restart.Same with my powerchords I wanted to install. Right click, unzip, RESTART.What's wrong?
Thats strange...you got your AV updated and scanned?Other than that I would only think it would be something bad wrong with Windows.Have you tried the system restore?

Haven't tried system restore because I haven't installed anything for weeks, and your AVG trial stopped :LOL:
Sounds like a virus.

I agree, possible virus. I hate to down AVG but I had a personal problem with that anti-virus software one time as it let a virus slip buy it even when virus definitions where up to date with auto protection on. I suspected a virus due to unusual activity and AVG couldn't find anything. I was able to get a copy of norton installed and it found the viruses and destroyed them.

 

Make sure your virus definitions are up to date and do a scan.

my g/f have the same. It's the lsass (generic host w32). Try to scan your cmpouter with the sasser AV.
Can you play games. If not then there is a possible hardware failure or a lot of dust on the Ht sink of the CPU casuing your CPU to over heat.
