1) get more ram2) get a better video card, a geforce 4 fx 5200 is like 80 bucks (dont say it sucks i have it and dont have many porblems with it, its not that bad)
AMD 1.3 GHz512 RAMGF FX5200Yet on 800/600 i get HORRIBLE fps drop at random intervals. Example: im standing in the corner and looking AT the corner (few polygons), yet some times fps drop from 60->10.Just changed to 640/480 and it kinda works. But what ****** resolution is that???????????????????
i have the gforce 5200 256 mb and it run just marvelous.o duh i got a 2.8 pentium 4 with 1 gig ram lol maybe thats why i dont lag rofl
I have a GeForce FX 5700 Ultra, and I can't get anyting much higher than 60 on FireArms. Now in BF1942/DC I get 100fps all the time. The reason for this is probably my processer, but that is odd because I have the DC graphics set to the max and resolution to 1024/768. In FA it is only 800/600. This seems kind of odd, but I think I am getting higher in FA than what is says. Like once I was playing and it said I was getting only 12fps, but it obivouly wasn't. SO who knows?
