Played ok last night in main armory server. just tried to join it, only one showing for fa in ta, was 1 player in thanatos, it gave me error saying my client.dll differs from server's.I not sure but think the fix for this was to copy/paste the ifc22.dll file into appropriate folder from other won fa folder ?

Shotty... i have tried this and still get error message. Further more, I played on Stars server fine. When playing I asked if any other players had problems with dll and many said yes, specifically with Armory server! So I figured it isnt me, but am stumped when I see other players on the server! This is really got me confused. I extracted files and both my teenage boys went through the process too but still no luck! Also, some maps seem different (caen and thanatoes) and I get errors on those too. Also, admin wont bind either! Other than that, everything seems to work just fine!

I just crashed to desktop: I was on basrah w/ my nightvision goggles and the M4 w/silencer on and full heavy armor w/ the useskill stealth on: then I heard an explosion like mortar fire then FA crashed to desktop hope this helps the cause. goin back in.

The nightvision makes me crash alot now... weird.

I have downloaded the .dll's AND extracted them and structured them to the firearms folder but i still get the error message for the .dll's when i join the server

I just crashed to desktop again: I was on tc_basrah my settings were as follows: full medium armor m4 nvg stealth-- I was just shot had my nvg turned on i went to bandaid myself then i crashed to desktop. will let you know if it happens again--tomorrow goodnight

my dll's still diff. too ,i got the one from the link above,i extracted and put with my f-a file.and i missing anything or doing it wrong?

wow,i give up.i just simply can't get f-a to work on any one's server.i guess i'm gonna have to reinstall .so before i do could someone help me out and give me a good step by step on what i need to do with the update,cuz i'm a pc dummy :evil: and i don't wanna goof it up again.thx k_t

Make sure Steam is not running. If it is running, it will not allow you to copy the dlls into the folder. Contact me on Ventrilo and I will explain to you.

Hmmmmm... maybe try everything imaginable before the big uninstall steam and it's games, reboot, del remaining folders/files, clean registry with reg cleaner, reboot, reinstall all ...maybe try : not having those files there before running patch, move them or rename them.

now i still cant get the .dll to work i tried replacing its with steam on and off reinstalling FA and changing the files and yet NOTHIN!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!
