New Accuracies

Featured Replies

What do you guys/gals think of the new accuracies on the guns???(how were they changed) was anyone here an avid user of MG's in 2.8??? how do you like some guns now compared to 2.8? accuracy wise. Personally i lean towards the mg's in 2.8 they were awesome in my opinion but not many ppl used them. in 2.9 it seems that they are almost wanting to kill off the mg's in my opinion. the accuracy on them now is completley horrid. People with 92f's and other low power weapons can kill me when im bipoded with my m60 at medium range. from what i tried even marks I didnt seem to improve it THAT much. anyways just wanted to know what you all think.
That's cause you are on full. Think about it;The actual recoil is from the bolt moving back and forthAdd a light weapon, that bolt is the heaviest thing on the gunThus lotsa recoil. That is also why the SSG doesn't move around too much (its bolt action, you move the bolt.

but still the bolt in the FAMAS is thus heavy and the frame itself is not (i think) so lotsa recoil also think of an M60 one heavy gun if you ask me so why is it soo inaccurate?
The famas is not as accurate as it was but its still deadly in the right hands (or wrong if u want to be a whiner). The m4 is too unaccurate for my feeble aiming skills and the SSG rox again w00t
i like the mgs before and the m82 bow .... they are ok k12 is fun though =P
well for starters the m60 is innacurate cause you got youself a very powerful 7.62 nato round on full auto. Then trying to hold the gun stable while firing and keep it on target is a whole other story. Now they made the m16 what the burst should be even though some say its a glitch...Plus the m4 just sucks. Even on semi auto it is weak and sucks, it might be me, for even close in requiring a whole 30 rounds to score hits.
5.56 has been known in afgan to not drop people at distances greater than like 75 - 100 yards, the troops i know other there complained that its not killing the enemy
The machineguns are almost worthless now. I know some people will say that helps reduce camping, but on the other hand, they made sniper rifles better, so there's still plenty of camping. I don't think MG accuracy is the problem, I think it's the spread of the shots. Instead of a relatively tight bunch of hits, the spread is wide enough to hit 6 people side by side, but so spread out it can't really kill anyone. As far as the M4, I don't seem to have a problem with it. Sometimes I can drop people with 3-4 rounds on full auto (I've done it enough times to know they ALL can't be at >10 health :p ) and on single shot, it's not much different than the M16. It doesn't have the bugged burst mode that several other weapons have, but I don't feel it needs it. The high rate of fire with the silencer make it a very fun weapon to use in game.
Besides the mgs, I don't find much difference in the other guns.As LFM said, the mgs are worthless. You can't crouch and move with them now, which just lets the m4 hogs strafe around you like some kid on caffine. I remember unloading about 30 or 40 shots from the m60 into one guy, only to have him shoot at me twice with a sterling and kill me! Sucks...anyway, I havn't tried the m4 alot, as some may know, I'm in love with the m14. It's all I basically ever use :p Amazing accuracy, good for long/medium range, AND if you're good, can be used in close range really good too
