File encryption run amok?

Featured Replies

Well, i run windows XP on my comp and the other day i noticed the feature under properties to "encrypt" a file. I tried it out on a .zip file to see what it would do, and i couldnt figure out what was different, so i decrypted it and went about my day. Soon after I noticed that everthing i copied and pasted/saved as/created/downloaded was all being encrypted by default and I don't know what I did or how to change it. Any help is appreciated. :? :)
I have seen that feature but havent tried it as I was worried about that. I will do some checking and see what I can find for you...it may be a little later in the evening before I can post.
