I own several firearms and I love to shoot.

 

I want a centerfire rifle something like an AR-15 or G3 variant.

 

I want to but new and spend about $1000

Nah, I want a flaptop so I can mount scopes and other sites directly to the receiver.The less parts the more accurate...I also don't like how high scopes would have to be mounted on the UTEEDIT: ah too many choices, they all look good

A bunch of guys on the FA forums work at a company called Cavalry Arms. I believe they make CAR-15's and such. People on the fourms, especially most of the gun nuts there (along with army guys), recommend there. You should ask on the FA forums about this. There they can answer it better.
