I also posted about this...but anywayall I can say is I can't wait for may 14th
sadly it wont support fire arms because it is on an intirly new engine it would be like playing dod on the battle field engine you cant do itbut maybe the fa team will make fire arms on the new hl engine....?
-Klif]...then there's the fact that if it's only being shown at E3 shortly, it still won't be released for a while. December, maybe. HL2 will take more computer resources, I'm sure. So HL (and FA) will still be here for the dinky computers.HL2 won't completely abolish HL. No worries.

This is true, but I am affraid that they will no longer provide updated support for the present HL. That might be a sad thing :?
Yes, hopefully they will move the mod over. They could do some really nice things with it on a new engine. Such as increasing the amount of available weapons to choose from finally ? Yay HL2 and it coming out this year.
i heard that they where playing it on a 1.7 ghz p4 and a gforce 4 at 70 fps and max graphics???
Yes i hear the new engine is supposed to be quite slick. I really hope FA can move over to the new engine, It would be a terrible shame if it didn't :(
but maybe the fa team will make fire arms on the new hl engine....?

ya...most mods convert there work to the lastest version of the gameso imagine...by June next year we could be playing FA on the hl2 engine!yay
