Just got my card from FedEx today. I just found out that it requires a minimum of 300W power supply. I have a 4x 1.2GHz Celeron processor. Will it have enough internal power?

hmmm ... i not sure but that seems like a hefty power supply needed, which may or may not be in older lower price (celeron) sytem. if you burn out the power supply you may not know it as one symtom is unit comes on but won't bootup, making it seem like hard drive or ram or mobo prob. just not enough power coming out anymore for everything.

I'm done with computer games except for DC. Which I still play.

My XFX GeForce FX5700LE 256mb. didn't work because of lack of power supply in my computer. So I'm back to my 7500, which runs better than the 9200 anyways.

I'm keeping the 5700LE for next year's computer.

I'm no longer upgrading this computer. Upgrades are so much money. Once you buy a new computer. It would already be obselete.

Whatever you guys start playing next, I will not follow. I'm getting Madden 2005 when it comes out for my Gamecube or my brother's PS2 (Which he gave to me when he went to Law school).

In a year or so. I will have a new computer and then I might consider getting back into PC games. But, now that I'm in college, playing football(American). Which means I'm Lifting and running year round to be the best I can be at the 1AA NCAA football level. I won't have much time anymore.

When I get my new computer in a year, I'll buy BF2 and start playing with you guys. Until then, I'm a DC only player.

And thats fine with me.

Thank you for help, with this question that lasted 4 pages :p

(send me ur 5700LE) :lol:but i will need a bigger power supply too....... damn you Gateway people......woot 200 posts
never buy a whole comp from one place, expesially from gateway. buy your comp in pieces from several vendors. find out what you want, do some research for the lowest prise on each component (should take 9hrs or so) then buy. problem solves....unless you fry something when you turn you comp on.
