July 23, 200421 yr The heat transfer rate of a heater core is not as good as a true radiator meant for water cooling so they should be a little bigger than a normal unit that would fit inside your case.Now if you are going to cool a videocard, CPU, and your chipset. A heater core would be the best and least expensive way to go. They cost around $25 at your autoparts store. If you get a el-cheapo model (Chevy Chevette).
