July 26, 200421 yr well im still a bit mad that GH, Mac, and i tried so hard to keep DC alive. I miss thta game but dont play anymore as the armory server vent vacant. I Play JO most of the time, Star Craft, Rise of Nations, Age of Empires, and Fire arms (sometimes). I have a binder that has nearly 200 games in it. Whenthe game was in its prime the binder would be worth several thousand dollars. with out inflation added. It's sad to see games come and go and happy to see starcraft ( nearly 9 years old) still full of games and palyers. In the future I refuse to get HL2 when it is released but will be getting BF2. I think it is a smart move to drop the DC server ecause it was draining resources (ie. money, server, bandwidth, ect) i than kcarl for the JO server which the other day hit an all time high of 80-some players.the FA server is always full when i see it, even in the morning, and i know gator and some other players are die hard BFV fans. Unlike DC, BFV is growing and staying alive- it is doubtful that DC 0.8 will ever be released with BF 2 on the way and some of the mod team splitting in to real game socding. ill be here reguardless even if only to beat people at tetris =)
July 26, 200421 yr FA is great, i continue to love playing it for its great fun.i keep getting closer to getting a new video card, so when that day comes, i will play BFV very often and maybe JO if i try the demo again (i have played it for 30 min). i will most definitly purchase HL2 BF2, maybe doom3 if any of u wanna play the 4 player deathmatch
July 26, 200421 yr lol 4 player deathmatchthat's going to be the death of them, trust meyea, Hl2 and possibly BF2 are on my To Buy List. World of Warcraft is also definatly on thereTHE HORDE!!!
July 26, 200421 yr i need to get hl2, bf2, WoW, and Guild Wars (a beautiful looking 3d FREE (no monthly fee that is) MMORPG from former blizzard employess wo made Diablo), i wish i had money now :-P
July 26, 200421 yr ah, don't we all wish we had money now...but of course, you can always rest at ease knowing money DOES come from trees...when you think about it it does actully...
July 26, 200421 yr I enjoy the fellowship and fun on TAC, regardless of game. My boys got me to play my first FPS game with Firearms about 3-4 years ago now. I will always love FA. But I admit BFV is cool. 8) Finally caved in to buy it. Just need to play more. I could never get the groove on in DC. It seemed to be a top heavy advantage for anyone that could master the jets or tanks. BFV seems to bring back the effectiveness of the grunt with a rifle. The copters and jets are still a bit too powerful but suppose BF2 will even things out a bit... I hope. FA and BFV..... that is my 2 cents. *salutes* Later boys!
July 26, 200421 yr Uh, I have to agree with Man o War. Not enough people to spread around between the games. Too many games at once and not everyone can afford the game and the time. In order to play FA well you have to play more than once a month or week. For me, if I don't play well I get disgruntled even tho it is only a game. I bot BFV also but have only played once because I enjoy FA too much. I will wait til FA is dead or really quiet before I get into BFV very much. That's all I have to say.
July 26, 200421 yr You the man, SS6 !!! ;)FA is the only online FPS I'm playing. For two years now, I think. I don;t have the money, time nor motivation to play any other online FPS and I don't intend to. I only play FA on the TAC server, with very rare moments when I join another serv just to play over caen and basrah (which don't work on my computer) or because the serv is full and I'm waiting in a 20 minute line already and there's no sign of hope for me to join in! :DI do not believe FA to be a dying game. I never saw too many FA servers on the net, neither were they always full. The only server that was always full was the TAC serv. If you would close down the FA server, then I don;t think you'd see any of me on the serv or forums, as I don;t even have any other HL mod in the computer (except for maybe DoD ), I love playin FA here, with some great people, fun to talk to and play with. I love this fun, likeable and diverse community that makes playing FA a very coll way to spend time.FA will live on forever!!! It'll never walk alone!!!
July 26, 200421 yr i donno i agree with chappy. it doesnt matter the game just the people u play with. but once i get my comp back ill be able to play all the games. FA, BFV, AA. dont know about JO cause i havent tried it but if i do ill try to get it lol FA was my first serious fps so it will always have a space on my hd so ya thats wut i think

Great minds think alike...hehe I feel the same as you do chappy. I also feel the pain some players (including myself) feel when the U.S. Forces cannot fend off the choppers, but the new patch should fix it. You also brought up the most important point of all, and that is the "fellowship" we share with everyone. I must admit that when I stopped playing FA, I really missed many players who routinely played on the FA server. I wish I was wealthy enough to have purchased a copy of BF1942 for everyone, but I am just a poor man. I would have done it just so we could all stick together. I truely miss the interaction we shared while playing FA. It started to briefly appear again when we started BFV, but seems to be fading again. I hope to promote BFV in the next few days or so. I guess thats the way things happen sometimes. Fact of the matter is is that there are some who like FA, some who like BFV, and some whom like JO and other games. Not everyone has the same taste in FPS games, but thats ok. The good news is everyone is in a win win situation, and we all have a great selection of games to choose from.

July 27, 200421 yr FA 4 LIFE Fixed. Anyways, though FA is my game, the comradery and fellowship, like chappy said, is the best part of this clan. Its great talking with the guys you play with day after day. Just at this previous FAL clan match, I could see our whole team working together and enjoying the game. It was all fun and games not because we were good, but because we worked well as a team and enjoyed it. So how do we keep this fellowship intact over different game moves? That is a tough question. But one way to figure out how a majority of the clan will transfer over to another game is to take a poll on which games we should adopt. The members each cast a vote and we can see where the clan is willing to go. From there, with the will of the clan known, the SC can make a good choice for adopting a game. Not sure how practical this would be though.
July 27, 200421 yr I like that vote ideawe should do that post haste so we can get this thing all cleared up
July 27, 200421 yr It seem to me like when ever i get anew gamethat thae clan is playing some thingnew comes out and the game i just bought is no longer played, so i'll just stop buying them and we will be set problem solved...
July 27, 200421 yr I myself got out of BFV as my system was having trouble handling the game with the server bigger. I wasn't aware it emptied so bad, as I concentrated on playing Everquest instead. However, I now have 512 worth of PC2100 coming to my house this week. This will all 3 bays in my computer with a stick of 256 meg Crucial DDR. This should make the game playable for me and thus fun to play.I have no plans to buy joint operations. I may pick up Doom 3 just so I can show Orion who the better FPS player is between us. but other than than, I'm sticking to BFV and the occasional foray into FA to keep in touch with my TAC roots.
July 27, 200421 yr I do play regularly FA since it by far still the most fast paced FPS around. But I own also a BF:V and JO and try to play them next to FA too (too bad a day has only 24 hours and that I need to work and sleep ) To Manowar: I do disagree with you, it's the most frustrating part of BF:V being spawn camped at your last spawn by helicopters that you can't damage (US troops) and that even if you'd managed to empty a whole M60 clip into them just have to move down to the Landingpad and get instant fixing going while you wait to respawn because he blew you up again.NO THIS ISN'T FUN AND NEVER WILL BE!I was always a grunt guy running around with my M16. It was always my fear of DC and a bit of BF:V too, that vehicles would just dominate the game and that being a grunt meant you'd be cannon fodder. I still do like BF:V when there are not too many vehicles and it gets to normal ground combat. I have to admit that I totally suck at flying the helicopers in BF:V and don't really have the interest to learn how to (give me an m16 and m203 and I'm happy ) That's why I like JO a bit better than BF:V. Sure you can die fast and a lot there but never ever did I had the feeling of being powerless. Vehicles in JO are much more frail than the ones in BF:V (you aren't invincible inside of your helicopter) so even I with my M16 have a fair chance of downing a helicopter by just firing at it and hoping to hit the pilot or make him bail and move away. And there is always the good old Stingers or 50cal Guns if he is persistent  I think it's really about your personal favors in what you like in a game which one you choose...FA - Fast pasted Action pure adrenaline rushBF:V - Heavy vehicular based with realistic handling, slower than FA but not as slow as JOJO - Hugh fights, less vehicular, slower gameplay and much more simulation like shootingAs many posted before, I like TAC because of the cool ppl playing here and the well maintained Servers. I try to play all 3 games (FA, JO, BF:V) when ever I see some of you around on the Servers. So all I hope and wish for the future is that all the cool ppl that make this comunity so cool stay around and that we all keep playing games together and having fun...So time to play, let's check who's playing [DIAL]Doc
July 27, 200421 yr i've still never got around to playing any of the other games our great clan is into.i guess i'm still trying to get good at f-a-lol :? f-a is my first fps game i ever played online(still the only one as a matter of fact).and since my first day in the tail end of 2.7i've been hooked,i hope as long as f-a does still live that TAC will be there, and that i will still be with TAC cuz you all rule 8) thx k_t
