Ok, recently, I have been having some troubles with my favorite server's motto, and the problems that stem from it. While it is the policy to allow just about any bug, gun, or exploit, all this freedom is, quite frankly, getting frustrating. I have seen far too much of this "Where the hell did that come from!?" Followed by "thru teh clif suxor" I am not entirely opposed to exploits, just the fact that, well, they get used too much. When half of the red team on the already unbalanced mexico have m82s, and climb up on the roof, where they can see through the cliff, it becomes impossible to take the 'high road' which is the real draw of that map. I don't really have any answers, except to take a vote and have players choose a few exploits they would like to leave legal. I know I sound insane for this, but Gunho recently decided he didn't ever want to play on TA during the day, because of the exploiting. My problem is this: It took a while for me to get good at this game, good enough to off the newbies that rush at me. Same for many of us. But now what happens is that those very same l337-speakin, mom-screwin, h4x0r-accusin newbs see others using exploits, and do the same. And then, those of us who either are on the wrong side of the map, or just don't know the exploits get owned, because some scr00bie can point and click his sniper rifle, even when we can't see him do it.

Exploiting cliffs and roofs is getting kind of out of hand. It's not to bad if one or two players do it during a game but when SOMEBODY shows the whole team how to exploit, it kind of ruins the game for everybody. I was there at the Willow exploiting frenzy also Klif. Please, PLEASE don't show everyone how to exploit these maps. Thanks :evil:

My opinion on this subject is that if your able to see them and they can see you it should be legal as long as you can kill them and they can kill you... For example the exploit on river for the red team where you can get up ontop of the the scenery above the river. I think that should be an allowable exploit. Another one I feel should be left alone is the ones in golan for blue team (dont know if there are any for red or not cause i've never played red on that map). There are various various others out there and I'm not really going to go into detail because those of you who know about the exploits know wether or not you "the exploiter" can be seen and killed in that "exploit".Thats my opinionMystik_MDS

It should not even be an issue at server level. The FA mappers need to cut them out on the official maps if the exploit is unintended. They said that more small bugfix patches would be released, and fixing maps along the way would be nice. New maps are just creating new exploits.If Klif was testing maps we would never have this problem

Yeah I founda bout 4 more exploits on my own but needed klifs help to test them outFor example i found one in river for blue team where you can get all the way around the back side of the river over top of the waterfallcool huh

i tend to agree with my clanmate (u doubted me eh irritant.) i play nearly everyday sad as that is and i find that my skills grow everyday. But like irritant said im tired of bustin my ass practicing with great peeps and get killed by sploitin newbs who use m82s *sigh* sorry had that pent up.
