August 6, 200421 yr HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HABefore Internet men got other games, hobbies, girls, friends, family etc. etc. But it's not Internet or hobbies that is the problem. Those guys weren't mentally ready that's all... it's hard to be separated from those you love, from things you like. It's not the Internet / games. That's the guys and the Army. I don't want to go to the Army for some personnal reasons, and I'm happy our military service is out now. I'm sure most of those guys just said that to the doctor who asked for more explanations and they answered all they like that isn't in the Army, like Internet. And then the doctor just solve badly the equation. That's all, I'm pretty sure.

August 7, 200421 yr Author So, is being in the military compulsory in Finland? Or did they do the "I joined the army because my FPS games were fun" thing? In most of the European countries a military service is compulsory. ... Soldiers are using their weapons once or twice per 6-12 months (the period of service).... The american system: 'I'll join the army and after X years I could afford college' is not working... Army doesn't pay much (In fact they can't- if everyone is 'invited' to army they can't pay a lot). And youngesters usually go to college because they don't want to join the army (one of the ways to avoid 6 months of sweeping the parade grounds...)
