August 8, 200421 yr I'm doing one last final upgrade for my computer I'm gonn get 512mb of ddr ram bringing me up to 1gb. My only question is, do I need to have 1gb of ram from the same company, or can I just get 512mb from one place and 512mb from another :?: thx 8)

August 8, 200421 yr no, as long as your cpu/motherboard support the ram, and the ram supports your cpu/mobo :-P, it shouldnt matter

August 8, 200421 yr make sure it uses the same timmings as what u have now or you wont be running you new stuff as fast as it can or youll have to slow down your old stuff

August 8, 200421 yr Sweet! Corsair makes some good RAM. You also might want to look into some Geil RAM. http://store.yahoo.com/ocsystem/ge51vaduchpc.html That's what I'm getting in about 2 weeks. Good price too.

August 8, 200421 yr Well, from the link you posted, you're getting PC2700 RAM. Last time I checked, PC2700 runs at 333MHz.
