Just got home from the airport!! I'm back, 7 pounds lighter, with a bad uni-tan and a newfound appreciation for how much my parents do for me.

 

My 8+ finished 2nd by half a deck (about 2 feet). We had a boatlength on them until the last 500 meters, where they sprinted early and got the lead, and our sprint only pulled us even with them. Then they just got the last stroke in before the line.

 

(Don't ask about our double tho :oops: )
