Desert Combat: This is my favorite. Its arguably the best mod ever for an FPS. Good Balance of everything. The "unofficial" DCF and DCX releases look awesome.Battlefield:Vietnam: A fun game, but more of the same and starts to get boring after a while. The Battlefield series is only good for modding IMO. Point of Existence looks amazing.Firearms: I played this mod since 2.3. It was an amazing mod. I stopped playing during the 2.8 release and then I came back in 2.9 only to become addicted to it again. Unfortunately, it isn't all that compatible with Steam.Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising: I have this game, and it was a huge waste of money and a disappointment. Where are the vehicles!!!!!!!!! Why would the M113 be the primary vehicle in this enviroment? It got old rather quickly for me. Yet some people love it. It was a good idea by Novalogic to have a game that can have 150 player servers. Novalogic doesn't have much luck with any game genres they enter. Remember the Comanche series? Comanche was fun but.......

DC= Too much walking around, buggyBF:V= Never triedJO= Heard horror stories from friend, never triedFA= Awesome game
Firearms all the way!!! DC was....well, ok I guess. BFV is better, but still.... just doesn't move fast enough for me. 8) Have not tried JO... my kids tell me its ok but not worth $ to have it. Long live Firearms!!!
oh chappy.. be my daddy. D:(Mac, you can be my backup father ok?)now BUY ME A NEW COMPUTER!!!
prolly fa, then JO, then dc (which i never played but it looks cool :-P), then BF:V, which i did not like at all, the controls were awkward and overly complicated, foliage was not all that greta, easpecially when compared to JO, graphics and sound were merely okay, and spawn camping, since you vulnerable as soon as you spawn, plays an even bigger nrole in this game than in JO
Firearms: great (good after work game)Desert Combat: the game i played the most of all games i played so farJoint Operations: i like from day to day moreBattlefield Vietnam: havent made a decision, if good or bad
1. firearms (best)2. bfv (it would be first if it ran ok on my comp, and if i was better)3. dc (never played it, but looks great)4. jo (tryed the demo, didnt like it)

Not another one of these again. These polls don't reveal a whole lot - most of the voters have not played or considered all of the games. On top of that, many who have tried the newer games go back to older games becasue of hardware issues.

Finally, what are you trying to prove?

Just a poll. I'm not trying to cause any trouble, and so far none has been caused. Causing problems wasn't and never is my intention.

I am with Carl on this one...Most of the people have not tried the ALL of the games nor do most have the hardware to run anything faster than FA. I think to fairly vote you should have tried them all in full version and have the pc power to run them...then vote if you want.I have all of them and the pc to do so1 JO2 BFV3 DC4 FA
if i ever pick up bf1942 i would definately try DC, but i've played the others, and i thoroughly dislike bfv
