August 15, 200421 yr Hm, looks good. Preloading phase for internet cafes already begun (for some parts in the world). Preloading phase for CS Condition Zero Users and People with Ati Coupons/Vouchers, will begin on the 16th of august. You can't play the game then, its only loading some parts of the game.I think you can game the beta some days later. But the dates could change, you all know, that happened in the past.

August 15, 200421 yr Cool, but dont worry, it isn't HL2 multiplayer. It is just shiped at the same time as HL2 just as with TFC. HL2 should have its own multiplayer (deathmatch i presume)

August 15, 200421 yr I started SRT with DaLawman and Strobes, we had only cops in our clan and stacked up as much as possible just as you wouldin real life. It worked great. The #2 man would toss the flash and then we entered the building/room. When we played they didnt have shields and stuff but we tried it again after the retail release come out and we still did pretty good using those tactics. I hope they can get a hold on all the cheaters for any new version and I might actually play again.
August 15, 200421 yr aparantly VAC has had alot of imput from CD (United admins) and is pretty good for getting cheaters!!!
August 15, 200421 yr yeah, the ban is hefty for VAC bans (1 year) i think it should be longer, like forever then the cheaters have to spend money on a new game, and then they should put some more money into anti-cheats i thnik

August 17, 200421 yr yea i just got CS:S. for the few minutes it lasts without crashing, all i can say is wow. even on my pos 5200 its amazing. now i just gotta find out how good the player models look.one thing that i noted that was pretty cool was the C4. alot bigger, with a ribbon cable going into the charge. when u hold down the mouse to plant it, u punch in the numbers as they appear on the screen. after it exploded, i unfortunatly crashed to desktop. :/if anyone has the v2 dlls it would be greatly appreciated if u send em to me EDIT: got em, now sending to sock

August 17, 200421 yr I always liked CS, it was great to drop in for a few matches when you had some time to kill, but too many cheaters.I guess I just like the whole "you die and you're dead for the round' concept.Hopefully CS:S will take care of the cheater problems, and I can get into the game again.
