Posted August 16, 200421 yr My download speeds are ALWAYS decreasing, for example, "They Hunger" started at 210 kb/s, went down at about 2-3 kb/s for a minute or so. Now it's at 97.1 kb/s, and still going down 0.1 kb/s CONSTANTLY. Something tells me this isn't normal. Thoughts?-Sock
August 16, 200421 yr That Sometimes happens to me. I thought it might be and unstable connection or possibly my system rerouting my resources but ive found that it only happens at certain places so i believe that the problem is with whoever your downloading from.

August 16, 200421 yr that happens tome sometimes too, usually on kazaa though, and my dl speed (now that they firgured out they had accidentally uncapped my speed and fixed it :-( :-P) it usually goes down to about 400kbs on slow servers and holds there. A.) what is your connection type? B.) have you tried dl'ing from really high speed servers (ie Fileplanet paid servers of the MS ons)?

August 16, 200421 yr I had a similar problem where my downloads would start off fast and almost within seconds would drop down to 10 kbps. It turned out that my ethernet cable was no longer working properly. I replaced it and everything is ok now.

August 17, 200421 yr i have the same problem, and iwas gonna post about it also, the other day i was DL a map and i started at about 2000 yes 2000 KB's a second and went down to 30 KBs a second, which is what i usualy DL at after the first 20 seconds. i have SBC DSL
August 20, 200421 yr We've got Rogers Cable, so yeah, thats my ISP. Sock i got rogers too. Do this Reset ur modem and Router (if u have one). This will give a boost to ur connection By reset i mean unplug it from the power supply.
