August 29, 200421 yr Author Sock, you might want to consider a different card than the 9200.... Not on my budget, plus, I already have it. I know, its teh crap, but yeah, it runs FA... As for the sound, I don't need a card, because it's just going to be on headphones anyways :\ Paluch: I'm in Canada, Dorchester Ontario (near London) to be exact. That includes Shipping ($34) and taxes ($103 or so) So yeah, it's a good price. Plus it's Canadian $$$, REMEMBER THAT!

September 2, 200421 yr Rofl MAC you dont get the Nforce free. you buy the soundcard and get the MOBO free!!!I prefer the audigy, because i am an audio fanatic (Quad Speakers with an ES40 valve (yes valve) amp, Marantz Gold edition CD player and a moniter audio Record deck,) I notice3 things like low level base roll off and such, the audigy only lacks Dolby ICE, which i dont need anyway,

September 2, 200421 yr 512MB PC3200 400Mhz DDR RAM (less than $100 after rebates) A7N8XE-Deluxe & AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (gonna overclock this baby) Hey Sock. Just gonna let you know, that the front side bus of a 2400+ is only either 266 or 333. If your ram is gonna be a 400 mhz DDR, you should get a Chip that can actually handle 400 FSB. If you do want to keep the higher speed ram, I suggest going for a higher FSB capable Chip. Otherwise, you're spending unneeded cash on the extra RAM. If you do stick with the 2400, again, i suggest going to lower speed ram. Either or, if the Chip is a lower FSB speed than the RAM, then the RAM will run the same speed as the FSB. Therefore, spending more money on the RAM would cancel out the speed upgrade, making the more money you spent a waste. I might sound like I'm rambling, but I have some knowledge
