April 28, 200322 yr looks good, but then again so did 2.7 and it blew chunks. When some bugs are actually fixed than i will be happy. Until than, you can find me with a conjoined casualty model depserately trying to avoid being killed as i unstick myself from it. Oh and dont forget the screen flashing and screwing up when i used the m249 Joy!

April 29, 200322 yr i havn't looked at it yet, at school, i bet it looks cool, i doubt you need a graphics card, does it not use the HL engine? if you can run HL then there should be no problemunless they just run it through HL and decide to start to use a hybrid Unreal/quake/dungeon siege engine (sick man sick)** off topic ** anyone know where i could find Dungeon Siege's music?
April 29, 200322 yr fog requires open gl, and if you like chug when running FA with fog, its most likely not your video card, i had that problem with Day of Defeat on my old comp
April 29, 200322 yr I'm happy that they started work already. I think they realized that many people are somewhat disappointed with 2.7(even though I personaly think it's decent). I expect 2.8 to be very well thought out. Hopefully they'll fix up the spectate mode for us. The only feature I'm not psyched about is the G36E. Hopefully they didnt decrease the accuracy too much. I agree in the sense that it needed adjusting, but at times the guys on the FA team can get a bit carried away.
April 29, 200322 yr you are good on the card man. All the weather effects are, are sprite tricks. Some pretty clever programming to get around a disability in the engine (no programmed in weather system). BTW everyone has a graphics card unless your comp is older than 7 years old. Hope this clears up your problem.
May 1, 200322 yr plz guy's/girls, men/women... if 2.8 comes out Iam truly happy for you all, but don't count on it./me really, really hopes for FA 2.8... (for all your sake) but with the info she has, she doubts it big time.and this is all Iam going to say about the subject... if I say more I can/will ruin everything in the current FA team, so I wont.
