My new computer is built.

Featured Replies

My new computer is finished! Took around 3 hours, Luker assisted in the building of this machine. (But not the funding.. :D ) Thanks to Creeping, Mac and everyone who helped me decide on parts. The final product was

K8N Neo Platnium, 1 gig Cruicable RAM, GAINWARD 6800GT, 1 DVD/CDRW combo + 1 CDRW drive. An Athlon 64 3200+. A heckof alot of red 80 mm fans (5)

3 Blue 80mm fans in the PSU. A nice 520W Aspire PSU with fan controls. That Aerosomething 4x fan controller, very nice. 80gig 7200RPM SATA Western Digital HDD. And some random generic OEM floppy. w00t! 150 FPS in BFV.

Wootage!1oneone!!

Was waitin for some pix, That 6800GT is NAICE!!!!!! and i mean VERY NICE.man that thing is HUGE.... ill have to get some pix of my new case up online!!!black PCB *drools* is that the one with the Dual sATA controlers on it?
Yeah, it was a good first build. Booted up first time. There were some things that were just a hassel, other things where kind of nerve racking, (Sam putting the heatsink on his face, while I read "DO NOT TOUCH THE COOLING STRIP ON THE BOTTOM OF THE HEATSINK.").But in the end all was ok, and I have to say that is one fast PC. When he was running BF: V with all settings on their highest, with 64 computers at their full skill thing...he had no slow down. Not to mention his CPU probably only when up by 5-8 degrees. It was amazing. :D :DIt is officially a BEAST!
Like true fashion...HAHAHAHA you gots fat fingerz!! FATTEH! :D , kidding, great comp man, too bad you can't beat me on it :D

Nicely done - what was the final price tag on this beast? :D

Heh, It was about $$1442.48... No wait, not about. Exactly. I also bought a nice kb/mouse and 5.1 speakers. So, that includes those prices.

awesome!! what's the fan under the video card? did that come with it? I like the red...

You can take some of those excess cables and put em behind the unused side of the case... clean it up a bit... unless you just like the neon green

Like Mac said, it comes with the GAINWARD version. It's nice. It has a heatsink on every piece of memory, and two fans that you can set by-yourself or it will throttle them according to temperature. It's nice. :D
