Today I played FA 2.5I really must say its gameplay IS the best.I wish the team could find some middle ground between it and the new FA.But anyway, it was cool to pull out the PSG-1 and walk around the old Durandal map.God, I wish Durandal still had the water below the bridge...PUNISHER

I started just before 2.7 came out. The thing I miss most is the steilhand grenade. I used to love having so many grenades, so much spammy goodness!BTW, How would I get into a 2.5 game?

I think they should take out the NVG's, put in a flashlight and put back in the steilhand.

you can dl 2.5 in the f-a forums go to the classic section(for deadeye)i was looking at it just yesterdayand thinking of checking it out cuz i never played that mod either.

i miss the AUG..... and the map (which name i cant remember) where it was possible to drop out of the plane (like in Coldwar) and land in water on teh (i think) red spawn and not use the chute, which meant your back had more armor.Those were akimbo Mac 10's

no, It worked, I got on a steam server and spent an hour playing against bots. One was trying to clay me as though it were a knife.... The other just used single shot FAMAS which was more accurate than a ssg.

there is ONE 2.5 server that runs bots, but it's rarely up.

anyways...can anyone tell me why acctually the stielhand was removed?! it was the best weapon ever ...the coolest thing still was to kill people by throwing the stielhand directly on their heads :twisted: and i was quite good at it... :twisted: but in nothing else i ruled...and still dont

i propose we all ask Mazor to re-release 2.5 as 3.0
