September 28, 200421 yr Author My guess, the steilhand was removed because it ruined many of the maps.FA maps have a ton of choke points and having tons of people with Huge grenades causes people to camp for fear of being blown away.Iwo is a spam-fest in 2.9, it was almost unplayable in 2.7(or whatever)One person could cook off a steilhand, rush out of the tunnel, and kamikazi the other team and consistently taker out 2-3 people.Thats not how the game was ment to be played...
September 28, 200421 yr well, they lost almost all of the files needed to mod maps, their base or something, thats why so many maps still have problems with bugs and exploits and such

Thats not how the game was ment to be played... /me bows people can play the game however they wish and it just so happens, some people tend to not give a rat's posterior whether they have a good score or not, they just want to have fun. if that having fun means stepping on your own claymore, going kamikazi with a nade, so be it. just because some people could throw the stg from blue's side of the bridge to red's loft without coming close to the actual bridge, people bitched.(I do that with frags now, only I actually toss them into the 2nd floor windows) I believe stg was removed to add nvg's, which was semi-pointless because there are still free slots. I'd rather have the stg's than the nvg's, rather pointless item considering the majority of maps in rotation everywhere
