September 29, 200421 yr Is anyone Trick or treating this year? Or at least dressing up (like for a costume party) Me and some of my friends want to have a party or go Trick or Treating, even though were are all like 19! What do you think I should be, Cleopatra, a Fairy, or like a Can-Can girl (moulin rouge like) What do you think? If you have any other ideas, let me know! Thanks,Becca

September 29, 200421 yr Your propositions sound ok...I could propose a role of angel (which wouldn't differ from fairy anyway, but would be loved by Arhnayel ) .Choose Cleopatra, the role of the Queen would suit you well.BH
September 29, 200421 yr well...cancan and pics sounds fun...but maybe ya dress up like the IRON-MAIDEN from dungeon keeper 1&2 and take picsalso raped angel would look funny i think
September 29, 200421 yr Great sig Holy!!! I would like to see you dressed as a blue FA soldier! Make sure you have ample Holy Antioch nades on the ammo belt! Maybe a dead white rabbit on the barrel of your gun. Cammo paint on the face... and bubble messages on cardboard that read "Over hear...I need a medic," "Cover me!!!" and "Get Down!!!" Of course, bein' a woman, you could glam it up a bit, 8) but I think being an FA grunt would be funny! Whatever you do, have fun and be safe!
September 29, 200421 yr Go with Cleopatra, and get some slaves to carry you around on a sofa type thing. :DHalloween in Hawaii. It just sounds weird to me.Maybe a hacked-up pineapple on everyones porch?

September 29, 200421 yr In Belgium, there is the fourth year that we celebrate the Halloween on the October 31th: the birthday of my son Psy4 too... Try the "Virus", "Floppy disk" or in Geisha...But in Cleopatra or in French can-can is good too = exotic... 8) Egidio.
September 29, 200421 yr The true origins of Halloween lie with the ancient Celtic tribes who lived in Ireland,Scotland, Wales and Brittany. For the Celts, November 1 marked the beginning of a new yearand the coming of winter. The night before the new year, they celebrated the festival of Samhain, Lord of the Dead. During this festival, Celts believed the souls of the dead?including ghosts, goblins and witches?returned to mingle with the living. In order to scare away the evil spirits, people would wear masks and light bonfires When the Romans conquered the Celts, they added their own touches to the Samhain festival, such as making centerpieces out of apples and nuts for Pomona, the Roman goddess of the orchards. The Romans also bobbed for apples and drank cider?traditions which may sound familiar to you.In 835, Pope Gregory IV moved the celebration for all the martyrs (later all saints) from May 13 to November 1. The night before became known as All Halloweens Even or holy evening. Eventually the name was shortened to the current Halloween. The current custom of going door-to-door to collect treats actually started in Ireland hundreds of years ago. Groups of farmers would go door-to-door collecting food and materials for a village feast and bonfire. Those who gave were promised prosperity; those who did not received threats of bad luck. When an influx of Irish Catholic immigrants came to the United States in the 1800s, the custom of trick-or-treating came with them. Does your family carve a pumpkin to place on your porch for Halloween? If so, then you can once again thank the Irish for the tradition. Actually, the custom began with a turnip. People would hollow out the turnips and place lighted candles inside to scare off the evil spirits. When the Irish came to America, they discovered the pumpkin as a larger substitute for the turnip. And so, we now carve pumpkins instead of turnips for Halloween.just thought I'd share some of the tidbits about that upcoming holiday I usually get dressed up to meet the kids who come here trick-or-treating. Before I moved to my current location the whole subdivision would get together and setup a hauted house which was always a blast. This neighborhood could care less but anyway always try to have fun with it Halloween was meant to be a festival.......
September 29, 200421 yr i always get close to be arrested on halloween  Now you're just giving me ideas... Stupid protest signs on front lawns may get a run in by me speaking of signs, on halloween theres all these election signs for the town so my friend's dad (die hard republican) gave me a permanet marker and told me to draw hitler mustaches on the democrat's faces. That also made me run from those blue and red lights.
September 29, 200421 yr Halloween...I've got some eggs.....for cooking...of course... Actually, I think I'll just go to a party or two.

October 1, 200421 yr Author Thanks for all of your suggestions guys, but I just checked my funds and I don't know if I can even afford a costume! The cleopatra one I wanted is like $50! My friend and I are going to Savers this weekend to look for anything we can make into costumes, so hopefully that will work out! Anyways, if I do dress up for halloween I *might* post pics, I'm not sure about that! BeccaP.S. Shotty, I am NOT going to dress up as a french maid, I refuse to wear a skanky costume! 8)
October 1, 200421 yr My halo-ween 8) will probably involve playing x-box with my friends all night, turning off the lights so they think nobody's home, then eating all the candy ourselves i believe i speak for all the males (excluding jimmy and jangles) in the FA community when i respectfully and politely say "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
