Notice its not actually Hl2 yet, me and jables were talking about this earlier. Its just everything in the package except HL2.

its just the preload for game files and such, and it is a good idea to get a physical copy or steam will probly screw it up in the long run

i have the ati/hl2 bundle, i'm going to go with the silver edition and pay the extra $10, plus another $5 for shipping I think cause downloading via Steam is stupid :?

when you pay for this, you get CS:S right away, and Hl2/DoD:Source/HL:source when they come out, no further chargegood deal if you ask me

the bronze version doesn't look to bad, just i wanna see what HL1 and Day of Defeat look like using source

D:for all people who have the ATI/HL2 offer I need a little help cause i don't have a credit card at the moment :?i already registered the key with my steam account, and when i go to purchase games from Steam the prices are reduced (i can buy gold for $40 and silver for $10) so it knows that i have the coupon. The thing is, I don't know if I will be able to get a physical copy of the game, or is it only available to me via steam.It doesn't even have an option for me to buy the bronze version because that is what the coupon is for, so do you think if I pay them $10 will they let me get a physical copy of HL2 or just the stupid downloading from steam crap?

if i buy it on my comp and download it via steam, will i be able to download it to other comps if i just log into my steam account?worst case scenario is that i just have to bootleg it and then use my cd key so i will be able to play anyways

i bought it through steam ;)unfortunately, the steam server was too busy or something so it really didn't work yet, they just took my money only $10 though so its not that bad :Pthey are processing the credit card number and all that stuff, and soon i will preload a bunch of mods like cs:cs and deleted scenes (even though it sucks ) i'm most interested Day of Defeat, i've never played it before so I need to practice for when I can play it with the Source Engine, also HL1 with Source could be very nice 8)ok purchased it, works fine so far, can't wait to play those games though, hopefully i only have about a month's wait left. . .also, i think from now on I have to be logged in to steam to play Half Life Silver, that's what my receipt says. . um... just log in on the other computer, the information is stored on the account not the computer, did you pay for HL 4 times for all of your computers?

that makes no sense.... i am playing a game that is not even installed on my comp? ( like if i try to play it with my 2nd one)... HOW!! -G
