May 3, 200323 yr I am not sure but check on your video cards site, and check for updates or any known problems for starters.
May 3, 200323 yr Check your adaptor tab in your display properties and make sure your timing is at optimal.right click in nowhere. Properties. Settings, Advanced Adapter, Set to optimal.Check your Driver version. I have found the 40.72's are the best for me so far.Check you monitor and make sure it is set up correctly.
May 4, 200323 yr The first thing you need is FPS. You really cannot play without FPS. Then the better the connection the better off you are.In my experience with the 8 computers I have. The 40.72s have the best ballance of compatibilty vs speed.I have run old chipsets/mobo's with slow videocards and attained 100fps.Like a Abit BE6-2 BX chipset, a P2 350 and a GF2 GTS. The GF2 GTS was overclocked and the system had good memory( cas 2,2,2).For a system to be blurry it needs to really be a hardware issue. I have seen drivers make a difference with TV output but not SVGA. That is if all the settings are the same.I suspect the Monitor is not set up correctly. The .INF is wrong or the display timing is off. The monitor could be going as well. Check the connection in the back or the cable.Get another monitor and test this out. It is easier to swap a monitor than a videocard.Do some proper debugging and see what the next step should be..
