ok last night i was playing with klify and he "I wonder how dod maps would play on FA" then i started to wonder that aswellthen i was wondering if it is illegal for me to convert dod maps to FA? if it's not i will get to work right away on converting caen to fa and retexturing it so it wont be so horribly uglyany one know if its illegal to convert dod maps to FA and would any one play them?

I like the DOD maps as they have many ways to get to the cap point. I am not a fan of the choke points traditionally in FA maps.So go ahead and make our day that is if it is possible on all fronts.

I doubt it's illegal. However, it would be heavily frowned upon by the mappers who put the time into making the maps jsut for someone to steal it and use it in another game.Instead of stealing someone else's work you should inspiration from their work and build FA maps in the DoD style which would work great.

yeah, it'd be nice to ask. I'm sure there has to be some sort of "mapper's code" you'd be breaking by copying it all w/o asking.

I dont like DoD altogether. dont bring it into FA

I like the para maps...like the one with the oil trucks and supply camp...that's cool I really like that(it also has a church clock tower that fell over)
