November 10, 200421 yr Why is it my computer always goes mad whenever I play with hackers on the server. Most of the time FA is smooth no mater what server I play on. Tested it today with and without hackers and with hackeres my so called ping was all over the place whenever I met someone so had to run away till it settled down. It's annoying that I can never hit anyone because I can't control my gun . It's not like normal lag where it stops for a while, and next thing you know your the other side of the room, this just becomes very jerky. Happens alot on your server. Never used to. Any tips on how to prevent it. Its not the computer either as its a pritty good model.Does anyone else get similar problem as cant enjoy game on this server no more
November 10, 200421 yr what's your system specs?and what do you mean by hackers? I play FA and rarely ever see any hackers. How you can just go onto a server and automatically know there are no hackers, than go on another one and know that there are hackers is beyond me.
November 10, 200421 yr Wow...If there were hackers on TAC, u would then be reporting them.hackers have nothing to do with lag.
November 10, 200421 yr 1) Check your rates in-game. Go into console and type rate 99992) Go into your C:/ drive, find fa29.txt and hllog.txt .. delete the contents of these files, and then right click and make them read-only. That should help you out.
November 11, 200421 yr i've seen certain players that caused bad lag when close while rest of enemy team has no effect. Could be a lot of things though like his connection speed thru armory to your pc. Regardless of actual casue, not much can be done or proven so have to make the best of it or not.get heavy armor head to toe and fast killing close up gun and be a mexican jumping bean :wink:
November 12, 200421 yr Author soz guys i know i sound a dunce but that s my prefered sever and its been bugging me for a while. although there was a game where there was definatelly 1 hacker, bit didn't say anything because he was on my side

November 12, 200421 yr rofl niceuh, really, you can't hide from hacks. If you think someone is cheating, contact an admin or leave the server.
