I got fired today. <----boring rightthe kewl part about that is my boss quit and the manager underneath me quit. lol. i hope the rest of my ex-employees quit too.

I feel your pain man as of Dec. the 8 i will be getting laid off as well. The sick thing is we asked to stay till Dec 26 so everyone wouldn't be broke for Christmas and they said no. I can only wish the best of luck to the new management that takes over where i work because where i live it's a small town and everyone there liked us. As far as i've heard everyone in town is gonna boycott the store as soon as they show up to take over.

I3orn2kill,AnArmyOfNoneSorry to here that people I've been fired and lai off before it sucks hardcore especially around the holidays. Go to school get a degree in the medical or transportation field they can't be outsourcedand there will always be a need.

Actually i'm gonna use this as a fresh start in life. I worked at the station for five years and i think this is gods way of saying time to move on. So i'm hoping to get into the Canadian Army and actually go some where in life. And yes your right when they said no to letting us stay till the 26th i was furious but like i said as soon as they toake over the business there is gone. What goes around comes around i guess?

i'm going to apply for unemployment in a little bit. I have a friend that is recieving unemployment for a year. that would be awesome.

That's a bummer man. My dad works at Caterpiller and I'm always worried about his job security...As for your friend collecting unemployment for a year, that seems odd. Was he hurt or is he just being lazy?freebies are sweet but somebody pays for it.

Actually i got in touch with the Human Resource Manager and she was a little upset about the way they fired me. I could have my job back in a cople of days. I think i will quit soon after that though. Maybe after the holidays.

Whoa, don't go back... they've shown their true colours and you can't let them hold you hostage with the fact that they took you back. Once betrayed, you can't trust them ever again.

lotsa hours cause its realllllllly busy... i mean christmas at the mall. extremelly busy. need more ppl to work more hours. more hours mean more $-G

Naw i got paid salary up to 40hrs then i made $4hr after 40hrs and .1% commision off of Store sales. So if the store made $40,000 in a week then i would only get $40. Not worth the effort of selling shoes. Maybe i'll get a job that i really love. like a comp tech job at compUSA or Management somewhere else.

Im a poor college student, and man does it feel great. Im sorry you guys got laid off, sometimes I wonder if you have to get a cardioectomy in order join a corporation's management staff.

The medical field can be outsourced, at least part of it can. but since that costs money, and we all know hospitals pucker up like a virgin's asshole when it comes to money, its unlucky that will happen anytime soon. Transportation is mostly union, so none of those jobs are going anywhere. To bad too, because it would lower so much of the cost around here.As for ur friend recieving unemployment for a year or so, that won't last to much longer. How hard is it to flip burgers for a few months?It does suck to get layed off right before the holiday though, its happened to me quite a few times. I got my revenge on the last one though, I (along with his girlfriend), got his ass deported back to africa..ok enough of my ranting.
