I've only been playing the game a few days, is there an FAQ somewhere that will give me rules, tips and the like?

 

I already have a few qustions:

 

1. Does using the silencer cause less damage or accuracy?

 

2. Is there a reason folks don't plant the bomb ASAP?

 

3. I know aiming for the head is preferable, but do you do any damage aiming for legs, etc. not covered with armor?

 

4. Is there a spreadsheet or something that shows exactly how much damage a weapon will do on an armored opponent?

well if cs:s is like the first one then the first one would be yes and no. second one cuz they want the kill points instead of the points for planting the bomb. three if u aim for the legs u have a better chance of hitting the head from the recoil. and the fourth one i'm not sure on.

U say this yet i shoot u with one shot in the head yet without having to aim at the head =P, but i do say, silencer reduces recoil, WEll not reall, but in real life its suppose to, silencers reduce power and the sound and flash, and it increases accuracy and actually range, how i know? cuz dads in the marines and he is this weapons guy but he is retired now.....lol u gotta love it when during a movie and he screams out U dont' handle C 4's LIKE THAT! lol

um i just kinda close my eyes and shoot randomly, most of the time i get a positive score except on ff servers, try it sometime

 

but really, i just take my time and aim at the head, accuracy in cs is terrible, but one good shot to the noggin and your opponent will have an exit wound in the back of their head

autosnipes and awp are both sweet

 

tip for the awp, just kinda fire if the guy is jumping around in your crosshairs, i noticed that if you wait too long to get a perfect aim on him you will usually die, but if you fire close enough the hitboxes are messed enough to register it as a kill

a few tips including recoil for the guns..

 

Yes silencers do decrease accuracy over range

 

With an AR fire initially at the knees lower waist on full auto from closer range

With the SMGs Chest area

With The pistols Head.

 

With the shotguns just fire near them.

 

 

 

With regards to that it is best not to go all out Gunho and empty the clip into them, Fire short 3 or 4 round bursts every second or so with the ARs, over long distance the FaMAS is deadly on 3RB

 

 

2 People dont plant the bomb straight away because they are more likely to get killed, it may be easier for them to kill the opponents than plant,
