January 20, 200521 yr pink floyd (dark side of the moon=best concept album ever!) the hendrix experience (pioneer...still fresh after 40 years...the best ax man of all time) yes (best progressive rock group) dave mathews (best musician i've seen in many a year) led zepplin (best rock....period) the beatles (changed rock history) bob dylan (don't personally care for him, but he did bring folk and rock together for the first time) acdc (best in your-face-down-and-dirty-party-time rock!)
January 21, 200521 yr Nope Chappy. Genesis was the best Progressive Rock group. OMG...how could I forget Genesis :shock: ...England by the Pound! Trick of the Tail! So many great tunes...Yeah, I would have to agree. Phil Collins rates as one of THE best drummers! If possible...I would put these guys in a dead heat with YES for best progressive rock. 8) Wow...thats tough to compare 2 great bands like that. I've seen them both live in concert and, to be honest, I couldn't say one was better than the other, both kick ass!!!
January 22, 200521 yr forgot to add in Primus: watch their dvd's and be amazed at the bass talent, though drummer is pretty good too. i like how they mix in rock/punk/bebop/funk all into one....and somehow make it sound good..... -sings to self- too many puppies.......too many puuuuuuuuppies....
