I've been working on my old map lately named "Hidden Village". For those of you who played it in the past (a long time ago), I can tell you that it is very different now, and is no longer a chopper war kind of map.

 

I will be playing it on our server tonight at about 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), so please stop by if you can. Also, please get the word out to the other BFVietnam players. Thats my time of course.

Once you unzip it, simply place it in the following folder:

 

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\Archives\BfVietnam\Levels\

 

If the test goes well, I plan to make some more cosmetic changes/additions, and will get it prepared for a scrim with another BFVietnam clan one night.

You can probably count on me being there man. Haven't played too much this week, and the way the weathers lookin' for the weekend, its likely to be a good "BF:V" weekend..

I went to check it out just a few mins ago but the server is not there I guess I missed my chance Maybe next time.

Tiger and i both have it. I set it up on internet for multiplay with her and possibly others. Anyone knowledgeable know for sure how many players one of these two p4/1.5ghz/512 mbram/128 mbvideo systems will run well in multiplayer ? 2 answers to this needed. 1= with it not used to play on, just the other. 2=with it used to play as ell as the other pc, both running thru hub to high speed cable ????

 

i may try allowing 12 players max and try less and less to see the limits. Watch for "hidden village" as map or TBT as games server.

 

oh and nice detail in map Gator. Especially the fog/mist in swamp areas. I tried every inch of that monutain to get over from cong side but see we have to wait for your choppers to get "knocked out" :wink:
