4 maximum.. i like to change it about a bit, depending if im sniping or rushing
You can actually edit the windows registry to completely remove mouse acceleration. Atleast I think it removes it completely. There was atleast a significant drop in the mouse acceleration anyway.

FaKToR[NDI]]You want mouse acceleration because it allows you to be very precise with small movements but turn very fast with larger movements.

Is mouse acceleration on by defualt for windows xp? Or do I have to change something?

Mine is set at 2.3 thats the way ive been playing for 3 years in Dod and CS

Your mouse sensetivityis in your game options.

mine is 18.5 on a Dell mouse ball...works great except on single fire and sniping with an assualt rifle, it takes me waaaay off my target lol gg mouse ball
Download microsoft mouse program from www.microsoft.com in the downloads section (it's free). You can then adjust acceleration there. Your speed will then be based on how far you move the mouse so if you move it a little it moves slowly, if you move it a lot it moves quickly.

20, I really need it to vary to what I am doing, I want it around 14 for sniping, but 20 when I am doing anyhting else.

Whatever it is, you'll get use to it if you play enought.
