I played the orginal Cs about a couple times and for some reason never really got into it because i Was So good at MOHAA Spearhead...and i loved that game(still love it).. and i would play the occasional COD ut2k4...but i wanted to try something new and so i decided to buy Half life 2 and loved it from the beginin ..then fell in love with CSS ...So im just curious...name some differences between CSS and CS...like basic and not basic diffs?

erm..

basically CS:S is just CS ported to the source engine. but it's not the FULL source engine, you'll have to wait for CS2 for that.

there aren't any new guns or stuff like that.

riot shield - it sucked like crap and nobody wanted it

skins - i think they'll have those in soon.. not too sure. they just wanted to release css as fast as possible.

maps - still working on them

I don't mind dying in CS:S, because I can look at the cool physics. CS regular is like... yeah, you died, watch these crappy graphics and complain.
riot shield was aweosme, yo uT's are just mad that when a few are together you have an unstoppable wall

yep riot shield... minor map difrences

as for css being more fun, its a lot more arcade style than cs, bigger hitboxes.. pysics and graphics

which is one reason why its so easy for newbies to be good at it, which can be anoying at times on pubs, but then thats why we have scrims

at the moment, CS 1.6 is better. CSS still has some glitchs and such in it, but hopefully they'll fix those soon
